Bottom-rankedHolbaek-Stenhus managed to get a seventh victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses on Friday night. This time they outleveled ninth-ranked Vejen 103-83 . It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 20-point difference proves that Holbaek-Stenhus was well-prepared to that game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vejen. Holbaek-Stenhus dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Vejen 's 36. Holbaek-Stenhus forced 21 Vejen turnovers and outrebounded them 42-23 including a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. American swingman Michael McCalister (196, college: Embry Riddle) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Forte Prater (190, college: Roosevelt, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 24 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists and 6 steals. Holbaek-Stenhus' coach Madro Garcia used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American-Iranian guard Neema Namdar (188-1997, college: HPU) with 25 points and 5 assists and American forward Andrew Orr (204, college: Washburn) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Holbaek-Stenhus (7-24) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Herlev. Newly promoted Vejen keeps the ninth position with 21 games lost.
