Rather predictable result when seventh rankedVaerlose (17-15) won against on the road 10th ranked Holbaek-Stenhus (7-25) 89-83 on Thursday. Vaerlose looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international guard Gustav Erichsen (197-2009) notched 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and forward Hannibal Offenberg (201-2004) supported him with 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Vaerlose players scored in double figures. Even 23 points by Spanish forward Michael Drame (195-1999) did not help to save the game for Holbaek-Stenhus . American swingman Michael McCalister (196, college: Embry Riddle) added 15 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vaerlose maintains seventh position with 17-15 record. Loser Holbaek-Stenhus dropped to the eleventh place with 25 games lost.
