Poland leave no chance to Great Britain in the game for the 5th place at the U20 European Championship in Division B. The Polish side won 83:53 and sent the team from Great Britain to the 6th place. Poland hoped to play for the higher place and dreamed to advance to the top Division. They started the game with 23-14 and added 19-18 in the second period 10-point advantage at the halftime. Poland did not even think of slowing down and won the second half as well. They posted a 21-11 victory in the third quarter and finished the game with 20-10 in the last stanza. Kucharek brought the last 4 points for the winners from the free throw line. Gielo stepped up with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Ponitka notched 12. Niedzwiedzki poured in 10, while Zyskowski and Kowalczyk had 8 each. Fraser delivered 14 points in defeat, while Devon Van Oostrum brought 13.
