Regular Season Round 8: HammStars - Dorsten 107-85

There was no surprise when 10th rankedDorsten (4-5) was outplayed on the road by eighth ranked HammStars (4-5) 107-85 on Friday. HammStars dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Dorsten 's 26. HammStars looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Thomas Miles (190, college: WPU) who scored 29 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Marcel Kirsch (201-2001) chipped in a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. HammStars' coach Ivan Rosic felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American power forward Aamondae Coleman (200-1998, college: Fresno Pacific, agency: Bell Basketball) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import Paul Lunguana added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Dorsten players scored in double figures. Despite that victory HammStars went down to ninth position due to points difference, which they share with defeated Dorsten.
