Not a big story in a game when 10th rankedArtland Dragons (4-5) lost to eighth ranked 46ers (6-3) in Quakenbrueck 78-86 on Sunday. Giessen made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Slovakian point guard Simon Krajcovic (188-1994, college: LMU) nailed 14 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side and Serbian center Mladen Vujic (205-1999) accounted for 15 points and 7 rebounds. Center Yasin Kolo (208-1992, college: Bellarmine) came up with 19 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Lamont West (203-2002, college: Missouri St.) added 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for Artland in the defeat. Five Giessen and four Artland players scored in double figures. Artland Dragons' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Giessen moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Bochum and Bremerhaven. Artland lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost.
