There was a surprise result when fourteenth rankedTitans (3-6) won against higher ranked Gladiators (4-4) in Dresden 89-82 on Sunday. Dresden looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Wes Dreamer (201-2000, college: NW Missouri St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and Australian guard Koen Sapwell (193-1999, college: CS Monterey) accounted for 22 points. American point guard Jordan Roland (185-1997, college: Northeastern, agency: Diamond Sports) came up with 22 points and 4 assists and the other American import guard Marcus Graves (185-1996, college: Sacramento St.) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively for Trier in the defeat. Five Trier players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dresden moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Karlsruhe PS. Loser Gladiators keeps the tenth position with four games lost.
