There was a minor upset when 8th rankedETB Miners (4-4) lost to eleventh ranked TKS 49ers (3-5) in Stahnsdorf 64-72 on Sunday. The winners were led by Ukrainian point guard Andriy Kozhemiakin (190-1996, agency: BIG) who scored that evening 15 points and 6 assists and swingman Dennis Teucher (200-1996) supported him with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. TKS 49ers' coach Dorian Coppola used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds by Montenegrin center Dzemal Selimovic (205-1999) did not help to save the game for ETB Miners . American swingman Isaiah Sanders (196-2000, college: Fairmont St.) added 16 points for the guests. Four ETB Miners players scored in double figures. TKS 49ers moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Coburg and Rostock Acad. ETB Miners lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with 6 other teams.
