The game between closely ranked teams ended with 12th ranked TG Neuss' (2-8) home loss to eleventh ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel (4-8) 84-86 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Pia Mankertz (170-1990) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Luise Linke (180-2007) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Rotenburg and five Neuss players scored in double figures. TG Neuss' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rotenburg moved-up to ninth place. Neuss lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with eight games lost. Rotenburg will meet at home Bielefeld (#10) in the next round.
