There was a minor upset when 6th rankedSSV Lok Bernau (6-6) was defeated at home by eighth ranked ETB Miners (6-6) 82-74 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American swingman Isaiah Sanders (196-2000, college: Fairmont St.) who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Brian Dawson (188-1999, college: Regis Univ., agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Luxembourg point guard Dorian Grosber (197-2006) who recorded 21 points and center Akim-Jamal Jonah (210-1998, college: San Diego) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ETB Miners moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Bernau .
