Rather predictable result when top-rankedUlm (8-0) outscored on the road 3rd ranked Rhein-Neckar (4-5) 98-73 on Sunday. Ulm forced 20 Rhein-Neckar turnovers. Strangely Rhein-Neckar outrebounded Ulm 47-34 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Danish forward Frederik Erichsen (206-2006) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jervis Scheffs (194-2007) who added 23 points during the contest. Five Ulm players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Rasmus Menger (203-2006) with 24 points and 7 rebounds and Benjamin Zintz produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Rhein-Neckar's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Ulm have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record, which they share with ALBA Berlin. Newly promoted Rhein-Neckar keeps the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Leverkusen and Bayreuth.
