There was a minor upset when 12th rankedHamburg Towers (4-7) lost to fifteenth ranked Seawolves (5-7) in Rostock 78-92 on Thursday. Rostock outrebounded Hamburg 40-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. American forward DShawn Schwartz (199-1999, college: GMU) nailed 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Bryce Hamilton (193-2000, college: UNLV) accounted for 19 points. Five Seawolves players scored in double figures. American point guard Brae Ivey (187-1997, college: SJSU, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) came up with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and South Sudanese-American power forward Kur Kuath (208-1998, college: Marquette) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Hamburg in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rostock moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Oldenburg. Loser Hamburg Towers dropped to the fourteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with ALBA.
