Everything went according to plan when twelfth rankedKoblenz (6-9) defeated at home 14th ranked Artland Dragons (4-11) 79-64 on Sunday. Koblenz made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Ty Cockfield Jr (183-1996, college: Arkansas St., agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 8 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Forward Dave-Gordon Boehm (195-1983) accounted for 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Koblenz's coach Marco van den Berg used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American point guard Buzz Anthony (180-1998, college: RMC) came up with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals and the other American import forward Tajh Green (203-1998, college: Benedict) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Artland in the defeat. Koblenz maintains twelfth place with 6-9 record. Artland lost eleventh consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Bayreuth and Karlsruhe PS.
