BBL top team -Bayern Muenchen (9-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixteenth ranked Skyliners (3-10) in Frankfurt 91-84 . Bayern players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international forward Niels Giffey (200-1991, college: UConn) notched 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Ivan Kharchenkov (198-2006) supported him with 20 points. Even 26 points and 4 assists by American guard Malik Parsons (190-1999, college: NWOSU) did not help to save the game for Frankfurt . His fellow American import guard Booker Coplin (191-1997, college: Augsburg, agency: BIG) added 15 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Four Frankfurt players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bayern Muenchen have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 9-3 record. Newly promoted Frankfurt keeps the sixteenth place with ten games lost.
