BBL top team -ratiopharm Ulm (10-4) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat ninth ranked Seawolves (7-8) 82-72 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Seawolves. Ulm made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international Karim Jallow (198-1997) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Justinian Jessup (201-1998, college: Boise St.) who added 15 points during the contest. ratiopharm Ulm's coach Ty Harrelson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American forward DShawn Schwartz (199-1999, college: GMU) responded with 23 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import Nijal Pearson (196-1997, college: Texas St.) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Five Ulm and four Rostock players scored in double figures. ratiopharm Ulm have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-4 record, which they share with Bayern. Rostock at the other side dropped to the tenth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Weissenfels and Oldenburg. Ulm will play against Braunschweig (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Rostock will play against Oldenburg (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
