There was an upset when higher rankedSchwelm (8-6) lost at home to eleventh ranked Rist Wedel (6-9) 76-62 on Saturday. Rist Wedel made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Icelandic point guard Leif Moeller (199-2003) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Robert Merz (198-2000) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Marc Klesper (186-2000) added 14 points respectively for Schwelm in the defeat. Rist Wedel moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Ludwigsburg and Berlin Braves. Schwelm lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost.
