No shocking result in a game when third rankedLich Basketball (13-2) defeated on the road 10th ranked Saarlouis (5-10) 80-72 on Saturday. Lich Basketball forced 25 Saarlouis turnovers. Strangely Saarlouis outrebounded Lich Basketball 38-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. The former international Johannes Lischka (203-1987) stepped up and scored 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Noah Litzbach (196-2000) chipped in 16 points. Four Lich Basketball players scored in double figures. Lich Basketball's coach Rolf Scholz used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Jordan Camper (203, college: Lincoln, PA) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Matthias Meier (195-1997) scored 18 points. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Lich Basketball . They keep a position of league leader, which they share with SC Wizards. Loser Saarlouis dropped to the ninth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Moehringen and Soeflingen.
