Everything went according to plan when ninth rankedRotenburg/Scheessel (6-9) outscored on the road 11th ranked Oberhausen (3-10) 93-65 on Saturday. Rotenburg forced 20 Oberhausen turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Pia Mankertz (170-1990) who scored 23 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. American Sam Deem (185-2001, college: Regis Univ.) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Sarah Zierhut produced 12 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jarla Mueller (-2003) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Rotenburg and five Oberhausen players scored in double figures. Oberhausen's coach Nicole Telke gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
