An exciting game was played in Wuerzburg. Ulm faced Akademie. Guests from Ulm defeated host Akademie 85-78. Ulm looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Danish forward Frederik Erichsen (206-2006) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Jervis Scheffs (194-2007) chipped in 17 points. Forward Noah Wendland (192-2007) produced 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Swedish guard Lucas Veller (-2008) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Akademie's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ulm are looking forward to face Dresden on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Akademie will play against OrangeAcademy in Memmingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
