No shocking result in a game when seventh rankedRotenburg/Scheessel (7-9) smashed at home 12th ranked TG Neuss (3-11) 74-49 on Saturday. Rotenburg forced 19 Neuss turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international guard Pia Mankertz (170-1990) who led her team to a victory scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Anna Suckstorff (167-2002) helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was point guard Marija Ilic (171-2007) with 16 points and 4 assists and American forward Jasmine Elder (185, college: W.Michigan) scored 9 points and 12 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rotenburg moved-up to fifth place. Loser TG Neuss dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Oberhausen.
