Everything went according to plan when second rankedLich Basketball (14-2) won against at home 8th ranked Ulm BBU 01 (6-10) 92-88 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Lich Basketball made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Lich Basketball outrebounded Ulm BBU 01 46-34 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international Johannes Lischka (203-1987) had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Noah Litzbach (196-2000) chipped in 22 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Polish point guard Zoran Milicic (191-2006) with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists and Dutch forward Yanu Slingerland (194-2008) scored 20 points. Five Ulm BBU 01 players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Lich Basketball have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with SC Wizards. Loser Ulm BBU 01 keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Goetting.ASC.
