Not a big story in a game in Karlsruhe where 12th rankedLions (7-13) were outplayed by ninth ranked 46ers (13-7) 97-76 on Saturday. Giessen made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Karlsruhe PS turnovers and outrebounded them 34-22 including 22 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American guard Kevin McClain (190-1996, college: Belmont) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and Slovakian point guard Simon Krajcovic (188-1994, college: LMU) who added 20 points during the contest. American point guard OShowen Williams (180-1997, college: App State) responded with 25 points and point guard Lukas Herzog (186-2001, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lions' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Giessen moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hagen. Loser Lions keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost.
