Very important is a home loss of third rankedEnBW Ludwigsburg (10-8) against seventh ranked Braunschweig (10-6) on Saturday night. Host EnBW Ludwigsburg was defeated by Braunschweig in Ludwigsburg 83-69 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of EnBW Ludwigsburg. Strangely Ludwigsburg outrebounded Braunschweig 47-32 including a 21-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ludwigsburg was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Ferdinand Zylka (191-1998) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Sananda Fru (209-2003) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Braunschweig players scored in double figures. American forward Joel Scott (201-2001, college: Colorado St., agency: Pensack Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and naturalized Cuban Yorman Polas-Bartolo (191-1985) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Ludwigsburg. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Braunschweig moved-up to third place. Ludwigsburg at the other side dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost.
