There was no surprise when 12th ranked Dorsten (7-13) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Herford (13-7) 94-85 on Sunday. French guard Jawaad Tonye-Biyik (185-2002) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Christopher Herget (194-2004) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Herford players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Aamondae Coleman (200-1998, college: Fresno Pacific, agency: Bell Basketball) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import Paul Lunguana (, agency: BIG) scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
