Very important is a road loss of third ranked Osnabrueck BBC (11-4) against twelfth ranked TG Neuss (4-11) on Saturday night. Visiting Osnabrueck BBC was defeated by TG Neuss in a tough game in Neuss 59-68. Neuss forced 20 Osnabrueck BBC turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian power forward Claire Sutherland-Case (185-2001, college: CCSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Marija Ilic (171-2007) who added 22 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four TG Neuss players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Antonia Kraushaar (-2003) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and point guard Charlotte Behr (-2005) scored 6 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Neuss moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Oberhausen and Bielefeld. Osnabrueck BBC at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Neuss will play against Bielefeld (#10) on the road in the next round. Osnabrueck BBC will play against Rhoendorf (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
