Not a big story in a game when 11th rankedTKS 49ers (6-12) were outscored by sixth ranked Kangaroos (10-8) in Iserlohn 103-81 on Saturday. Iserlohn dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to TKS 49ers ' 32 and made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. They outrebounded TKS 49ers 37-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Iserlohn looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Spanish guard Jorge Mejias (190-2001, college: TAMIU) notched 25 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and American center Diante Bah (204-1997, college: Rowan) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Bah is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Kangaroos' coach Toni Prostran felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 22 points and 4 assists by Ukrainian point guard Andriy Kozhemiakin (190-1996, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for TKS 49ers . Forward Paul Stegmann (202-2004) added 13 points and 8 rebounds. Five Iserlohn and four TKS 49ers players scored in double figures. Iserlohn moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Frankfurt Jrs. Loser TKS 49ers keep the eleventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Ludwigsburg and Itzehoe.
