Everything went according to plan when fourth rankedWesterstede (12-4) beat on the road 9th ranked Aschersleben (6-11) 103-93 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jonil Fugett (183-1999, college: UCCS) who scored 41 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Gaspar Kocevar chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Westerstede's coach used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American guard DMonte Brown (193-2000, college: Langston) produced a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds and Yannick Von Hain (192-2002) added 20 points respectively for the hosts.
