Regular Season Round 21: Bayern - Frankfurt 70-56

Very expected game when 16th ranked Skyliners (5-13) were defeated on the road by second ranked Bayern Muenchen (13-5) 70-56 on Tuesday. Bayern forced 20 Frankfurt turnovers. The former international power forward Oscar Da Silva (205-1998, college: Stanford) stepped up and scored 9 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Ivan Kharchenkov (198-2006) chipped in 8 points and 4 steals. Bayern Muenchen's coach Gordon Herbert used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Malik Parsons (190-1999, college: NWOSU) with 13 points and 4 assists and the other American import forward Kamaka Hepa (208-2000, college: Hawaii) scored 10 points. Defending champion maintains second place with 13-5 record behind leader Ulm. Newly promoted Frankfurt keeps the sixteenth position with 13 games lost. Bayern will meet Chemnitz (#6) on the road in the next round. Frankfurt will play against Hamburg (#13) and hope to secure a win.
