Regular Season Round 21: Wolfenbuettel - Aschersleben 112-107

There was no surprise when 9th rankedAschersleben (6-12) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Wolfenbuettel (11-7) 112-107 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American point guard Sidney Brown Jr (177-1999, college: Albright) stepped up and scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and Thorben Uster (195-2002) chipped in 30 points. Wolfenbuettel's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Yannick Von Hain (192-2002) with 37 points (!!!) and center Maurice Delage (205-1995) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Four Wolfenbuettel and five Aschersleben players scored in double figures. Wolfenbuettel have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 11-7 record which they share with defeated Aschersleben . Aschersleben lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Goetting.ASC and Jahn Muenchen.
