LeaderJahn Muenchen delivered the ninth victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Loewen (6-6) 76-69 in Erfurt. Jahn Muenchen dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Loewen 's 32. Jahn Muenchen forced 19 Loewen turnovers and outrebounded them 57-41 including 18 on the offensive glass. Jahn Muenchen brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Levi Weng orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds. Paul Plato contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Jahn Muenchen players scored in double figures. Point guard Musa Abra (179-2006) answered with 29 points and 9 rebounds and Luca Foerster (184-2007) added 16 points in the effort for Loewen. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jahn Muenchen have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-3 record. Loewen at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Metropol Ruhr.
