Regular Season Round 22: Leverkusen - Berlin Braves 94-78

ProB top team - Leverkusen (21-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat tenth ranked Braves (9-13) 94-78. Leverkusen outrebounded Berlin Braves 38-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. American swingman Donte Nicholas (196-1987, college: Fresno Pacific) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Center Dennis Heinzmann (216-1991) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five Leverkusen players scored in double figures. Emanuel Schueler (195-2003) produced 22 points (made all of his seven free throws) and American-Israeli guard Jordan Mello-Klein (185-1998, college: Bentley, agency: Helping Ballers) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Braves' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Leverkusen have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-1 record. Loser Braves keep the tenth place with 13 games lost. Leverkusen will meet Bernau (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Berlin Braves will play against Rostock Acad. and hope to secure a win.
