There was no surprise when 18th rankedVechta-2 (4-25) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Bayreuth (10-19) 90-77 on Saturday. American swingman Demarcus Demonia (201-1999, college: A&M-Commerce) stepped up and scored 26 points and 4 assists for the winners and center Nat-Sidi Diallo (208-2000) chipped in 9 points and 5 rebounds. Demonia is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Danish guard Jonathan Klussmann (190-2002) responded with 23 points and center Linus Ruf (211-2005) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bayreuth moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Nuernberg. Vechta 2 lost their seventh game in a row. They stay dead last with 25 lost games.
