There was an upset in Iserlohn where 4th placedKangaroos (13-10) were defeated by twelfth ranked Eagles (8-15) 86-70 on Saturday. Itzehoe made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Iserlohn turnovers. It was a great evening for point guard Erik Nyberg (186-1996, college: Clarendon CC) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Canadian forward Adam Paige (203-2000, college: Alberta) helped adding 21 points. Four Eagles players scored in double figures. American center Diante Bah (204-1997, college: Rowan) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Christopher Schultz (194-2003) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Itzehoe moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Ludwigsburg and TKS 49ers. Loser Kangaroos keeps the fourth position with ten games lost.
