Regular Season Round 24: Berlin Braves - Iserlohn 99-76
Date: March 29, 2025
There was a surprise result when tenth rankedBraves (11-13) crushed higher ranked Kangaroos (13-11) in Berlin 99-76 on Saturday. Berlin Braves made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Iserlohn turnovers. The winners were led by point guard Adrian Worthy (187-2003) who scored that evening 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Emanuel Schueler (195-2003) supported him with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Braves' coach Michael Wende felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by American center Diante Bah (204-1997, college: Rowan) did not help to save the game for Iserlohn . Johannes Konradt (199-1995) added 22 points. Berlin Braves moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser Kangaroos keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. They share it with BSW Sixers and Wuerzburg Ak.. Berlin Braves will meet league's second-placed Wolmirstedt on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Iserlohn will play against Bernau and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
