Regular Season Round 31: Giessen 46ers - Kirchheim 105-84

There was no surprise in Giessen where 8th rankedKirchheim Knights (17-14) were outplayed by fourth ranked 46ers (21-10) 105-84 on Sunday. Giessen shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Kirchheim 's players. It was a great evening for Canadian guard Aiden Warnholtz (188-2000, college: Carleton) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 5 assists. Serbian forward Viktor Kovacevic (203-1999, college: West Liberty) helped adding 8 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side American forward James Graham (201-2000, college: AUM) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import point guard Braden Norris (183-1999, college: Loyola, IL) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Kirchheim players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Giessen moved-up to third place, which they share with Crailsheim. Loser Kirchheim Knights dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost.
