Regular Season Round 32: Vechta 2 - Giessen 46ers 67-84

Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked46ers (22-10) won against on the road bottom-ranked Vechta-2 (4-28) 84-67 on Sunday. Giessen dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Vechta-2 's 30. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovakian point guard Simon Krajcovic (188-1994, college: LMU) who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian forward Viktor Kovacevic (203-1999, college: West Liberty) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Danish guard Jonathan Klussmann (190-2002) responded with 19 points and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Luc Van Slooten (205-2002) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. 46ers have a solid three-game winning streak. Giessen moved-up to third place, which they share with Crailsheim. Vechta 2 lost tenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 28 lost games.
