Very important is a road loss of third rankedMLP Academics Heidelberg (16-11) against thirteenth ranked Telekom Baskets (13-15) on Sunday night. Visiting MLP Academics Heidelberg was defeated by Telekom Baskets in a tough game in Bonn 80-85 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MLP Academics Heidelberg. The best player for the winners was Canadian forward Thomas Kennedy (206-2000, college: Windsor) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Sam Griesel (200-2000, college: Nebraska) chipped in 16 points. Four Telekom Baskets players scored in double figures. American forward Ryan Mikesell (201-1996, college: Dayton, agency: Slash Sports) produced 19 points and the other American import guard Michael Weathers (190-1997, college: SMU) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Bonn maintains thirteenth place with 13-15 record. Heidelberg at the other side keeps the third position with 11 games lost.
