ButStuttgart MTV was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Homburg 64-57 on Saturday night. Bad Homburg made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Stuttgart MTV turnovers. Canadian forward Claire Signatovich (185-2001) fired 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Latvian guard Elza Bierina (180-2002) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Joanna Scheu (167-2005) produced 11 points and center Lola Stamenkovic (193-2006) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
