Telekom Baskets used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Oldenburg 73-71 on Saturday night. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bonn looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Oldenburg 's players. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Grayson Murphy (187-1999, college: Belmont) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. The former international power forward Michael Kessens (206-1991, college: FIU) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Five Telekom Baskets players scored in double figures. American guard Brian Fobbs (196-1998, college: Towson) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American-Central African point guard Chris Clemons (175-1997, college: Campbell, agency: JCK Sports Group) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Oldenburg in the defeat. EWE Baskets' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
