They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. It was a good game for Canadian point guard Elijah Miller (183-1997, college: UPEI) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 assists. American swingman Carlos Carter (197-1999, college: Shippensburg) contributed with 18 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Eisbaeren Bremerhaven players scored in double figures. Moritz Plescher (195-2000) answered with 16 points and American point guard Rayshawn Mart (190-1998, college: Xavier, LA) added 13 points and 5 assists in the effort for Bayreuth. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bayreuth will play next round against strong Artland trying to get back on the winning streak. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will try to continue on its current victory against Leverkusen on the road.
