Regular Season Round 6: Hannover - Osnabrueck 72-74

The most exciting game of round 6 in the DBBL took place in Hannover. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of second-best Hannover (4-2) to sixth ranked Panthers (3-2) 74-72 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hannover. It was a good game for Swedish guard Stina Almqvist (185-2002, college: Pennsylvania) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Kristen Spolyar (178-1997, college: Butler) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. replied with 25 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Alyssa Brown (185, college: UNLV) added 20 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hannover. Osnabrueck moved-up to fifth place, which they share with ALBA Berlin. Hannover at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Marburg. Osnabrueck is looking forward to face Halle (#8) on the road in the next round. Hannover will play against Herner (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
