We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Karlsruhe where 12th rankedLions-2 (1-6) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Lich (2-6) 88-80 on Saturday. Lich dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Lions-2 's 32. The best player for the winners was the former international Johannes Lischka (203-1987) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Gregor Guembel chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Lich players scored in double figures. Forward Yannis Steger (204-2005) produced 29 points and 6 rebounds and Emanuel Francisco (198-2001) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
