We should mention about the upset which took place in Kirchheim, where higher rankedTigers (5-3) were outleveled in a road game by fifteenth ranked Kirchheim Knights (3-5) 83-62 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Tigers. Kirchheim made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Lucas Mayer who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Phillip Russell (178-1999, college: VCU) who added 23 points (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!) during the contest. Kirchheim Knights' coach Igor Perovic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Bernard Pelote (203-2002, college: WCU, agency: JCK Sports Group) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and forward Melkisedek Moreaux (198-1996, college: Mercyhurst) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Kirchheim moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Bayreuth and Koblenz. Loser Tigers keeps the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with Artland.
