Very expected game when 11th rankedLangen (3-7) was smashed on the road by fourth ranked Speyer (6-4) 85-64 on Friday. Speyer looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Forward Oskar Humpert (201-2005, agency: Blacktop Management) nailed 15 points for the winning side and center David Aichele (212-1999) accounted for 10 points and 8 rebounds. Five Speyer players scored in double figures. Alexander Lagerman (202-2004) came up with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Frederik Mueller (195-2002) added 7 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Langen in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Speyer maintains fourth place with 6-4 record, which they share with FC Bayern 2 and Oberhaching. Newly promoted Langen dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Frankfurt Jrs.
