There was no surprise when 13th rankedMainz (1-7) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Reutlingen (6-2) 86-77 on Saturday. Reutlingen forced 22 Mainz turnovers. The best player for the winners was naturalized Serbian Nemanja Nadjfeji (198-2000) who scored 15 points and 4 assists. American forward Miles Mallory (196, college: RMC, agency: Highlight Athletes) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Reutlingen players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American Elijah Allen (194-1989, college: NW Missouri St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Vincent Hennen (190-2000) added 22 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Reutlingen moved-up to second place, which they share with Breitenguessbach. Mainz lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Karlsruhe PS 2.
