There was a minor upset when 5th rankedDeisenhofen (6-4) was crushed at home by eighth ranked Kangaroos (5-5) 115-94 on Saturday. Leitershofen made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. Leitershofen outrebounded Oberhaching 34-22 including a 26-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Leitershofen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American-Jamaican guard Brian Dawson (188-1999, college: Regis Univ., agency: Origins Sports Group) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. American guard Zion Richardson (193-2001, college: CS Fullerton) helped adding 20 points. Kangaroos' coach Emanuel Richter felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Jonathan Zeisberger (185-2006) responded with 29 points and 4 assists and Fynn Fischer (208-1999) scored 17 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Leitershofen moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Rist Wedel. Loser Deisenhofen dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Speyer and FC Bayern 2.
