Everything went according to plan when seventh rankedALBA Berlin (5-2) won against on the road 10th ranked Chemnitz (4-4) 89-85 on Sunday. ALBA dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Chemnitz 's 22. ALBA looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Icelandic guard Martin Hermannsson (190-1994, college: LIU Brooklyn) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists and American forward Justin Bean (201-1996, college: Utah St.) who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. ALBA Berlin's coach Pedro Calles used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Bulgarian forward Yordan Minchev (202-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Ivorian forward Kevin Yebo (207-1996) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Chemnitz players scored in double figures. ALBA Berlin have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ludwigsburg. Loser Chemnitz keeps the tenth position with four games lost. They share it with Bonn.
