Regular Season Round 6: MBA - Loewen 106-104

There was a small surprise when sixth rankedMBA (1-5) edged 3rd ranked Loewen (3-2) in Weissenfels 106-104 on Sunday. MBA made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Guard Mika Siegert (194-2008) notched a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Milo Dalchau supported him with 15 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Even 27 points and 5 rebounds by did not help to save the game for Loewen . Lenny Dittmar added 18 points and 12 rebounds. Four MBA and five Loewen players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. MBA left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with Nuernberg. Loser Loewen dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with 6 other teams.
