There was no surprise when 13th rankedMainz (2-9) was defeated at home by third ranked Saarlouis (9-2) 89-84 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Jorke Aav who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Jordan Camper chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Saarlouis players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Ben Karbe who recorded 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and American forward Miles Mallory (196, college: RMC, agency: Highlight Athletes) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Saarlouis keep a position of league leader, which they share with Breitenguessbach and Ansbach.
