There was a small surprise when eighth rankedSeawolves Academy (6-6) defeated 5th ranked Neustadt TSV (7-5) in Rostock 100-85 on Sunday. Rostock Acad. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by Jonas Zilinskas who had that evening a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Jalen Page (193-2002, college: Trevecca) supported him with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Even 23 points and 7 rebounds by American-Cape Verdean forward Tyson Leitao (199-2002, college: Tampa) did not help to save the game for Neustadt TSV . Aime Olma (193-2004) added 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rostock Acad. moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Rist Wedel and H.Loewen. Neustadt TSV lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Ludwigsburg.
