The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeatedALBA Berlin (5-1) in Vechta on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked RASTA Ac. (2-3) 78-72 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of ALBA Berlin. Strangely ALBA Berlin outrebounded RASTA Ac. 35-23 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Fynn Lastring who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Moritz Gruess contributed with 8 points for the winners. Fin Borczanowski answered with 11 points and 5 rebounds and Noah Isichei added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for ALBA Berlin. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. RASTA Ac. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with IBAM. ALBA Berlin at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Hamburg and Bayern.
